HelpMap Agency is committed to expanding access to climate adaptation technology by ensuring that CogniCity OSS remains free, open, and available to all. We work with residents, researchers, governments, and civil-society partners to design and adapt our software solutions according to local knowledge because the people closest to risk understand it best. Our commitment is not simply to technical reliability. We invest in community trust, transparency, and long-term ecological stewardship.
As emergency events intensify, the need for trusted infrastructure becomes urgent. We support communities by building digital platforms that enable rapid reporting, safer mobility, and reliable communication and coordination during crises. HelpMap Agency stands with communities facing the most difficult and urgent challenges of the climate emergency and we prioritize work with the most affected places and people.

We are designers, emergency managers, open source developers, and digital educators—all dedicated to ensuring that climate adaptation technologies reflect and respond to the lived realities of the communities that use them.
Our work is shaped by frontline partnerships and co-learning with people navigating risk and uncertainty. We value humility, listening, and shared ownership; this ethical approach guides every deployment, innovation, and relationship we build. CogniCity OSS has already supported millions of residents in South and Southeast Asia, enabling community-led reporting during floods and fires, earthquakes and typhoons. HelpMap Agency expands this work globally by cultivating partnerships, offering training, and ensuring that local organizations have the capacity to deploy and sustain climate adaptation technology. Our goal is to help communities transform information into collective action.
